Skipping the Canton Fair? How to Get One Custom Cuban Bracelet Made in Guangdong

Every October, Guangzhou fills up with buyers carrying lanyards, tote bags and a very specific look of jet lag. The 140th Canton Fair runs October 15 to November 4, 2026, in three phases. Fashion accessories — where most chain jewelry lives — sit in Phase 3, October 31 to November 4. The last session drew about 314,000 overseas buyers from 220 countries and regions, according to the fair's own numbers.

Great event. Wrong tool if you want one bracelet.

Canton Fair is built for cartons, not for your wrist

Booths at the fair want to talk minimum order quantities, private label, and container loads. If you walk up and ask for a single 9mm Cuban bracelet at 20.5 cm with a different clasp, the polite answer is a business card. The honest answer is "not at this MOQ."

That is not the factories being difficult. Their whole day is set up for 500-piece runs. One-off custom work breaks the line.

So people end up with two bad options: fly in and still not get a single custom piece, or order a random listing online and hope the length in the photo is the length in the box.

The small-buyer route: custom Cuban jewelry without the flight

What you can actually change

• Width — 4mm tennis up to 9mm-plus Cuban, depending on the style
• Clasp — box clasp, lobster, or the chunkier cowboy clasp with CZ
• Finish — steel tone or gold tone plating

What does not move: we do not turn plated steel into solid gold, and cubic zirconia stays cubic zirconia. We say so on the listing and again in the quote.
