How a China Personal Shopper Quote Works — Three Lines, Two Payments

You do not need another essay about “sourcing from China.” You need to know what the quote means before you hit PayPal.

YueFetch is a China personal shopper registered in Hong Kong. We buy and QC in Guangdong. A Huizhou or Shenzhen freight forwarder exports. We do not run our own warehouse. This note is only about the money path.

The three-line quote (always)

Whether you use Custom Source or buy from the shop, the honest split is:

1. Product — what the maker or seller gets 2. International freight — after we weigh the packed carton, unless free shipping unlocks 3. Service — our time: chasing, payment rails, packing handoff, English updates

Mystery “all-in” totals are how boring problems become expensive surprises. We keep the lines separate on purpose.

What you pay first

• Catalog checkout: PayPal covers the product subtotal now.
• Custom Source: you accept the quote, then pay product + service first (freight rules below).

When freight is free (write this down)

Eligible all-light catalog orders with a product subtotal of USD 199+ ship free to the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, or Japan.

That means:

• Every physical item in the cart must qualify as light
• Digital add-ons do not help you reach $199
• Other countries still get a freight quote after weigh-in
• Ceramics, tea ware, portraits and other non-light lanes stay outside the offer

If the cart notice says free shipping is unlocked, there is no payment 2 for international freight. If it does not unlock, expect payment 2 after packed weigh-in. Typical light-item freight to the US / UK / Germany often sits around USD 12–28 before any free-ship rule — estimate, not a carrier invoice.

Timeline in plain English

1. You send a link, photo, or cart 2. We reply with the three lines (usually within about 24 hours on business days) 3. You pay what is due now 4. We buy in Guangdong; photos when the seller or forwarder provides them 5. Forwarder exports with tracking — door-to-door often about 7–15 business days after dispatch
