Why We Ship From Huizhou & Shenzhen Warehouses

Two warehouses, one border, zero drama

Let's be honest: most sourcing agents tell you they have a warehouse. What they mean is a corner of someone else's warehouse, a guy named Chen with a clipboard, and a vague promise that your stuff will "probably" ship on Friday.

We do it differently. YueFetch runs out of two spots in Guangdong: a Huizhou warehouse for consolidation and QC, and a Shenzhen export desk for the actual handoff to forwarders. It's not glamorous. But it's the reason your cartons don't sit in limbo for three weeks.

Why Huizhou? Because rent is real and so is space

Huizhou sits about 90 minutes northeast of Shenzhen by road. It's part of the Pearl River Delta but doesn't have Shenzhen's insane real estate math. That means we can afford actual floor space — room to open cartons, count units, and stage pallets without tripping over someone else's shipment.

When you send us a mixed order (say, 200 units from a Dongguan bag maker and 50 from a Shenzhen electronics shop), everything lands in Huizhou first. We inspect, photograph, and consolidate. One China sourcing warehouse, one set of photos, one outbound plan.

Is it slower than shipping direct from each factory? Sometimes by a day. Is it cheaper and less chaotic than three separate exports? Almost always.

Shenzhen export: the handoff that actually matters

Shenzhen is where the magic (and the customs paperwork) happens. It's home to Yantian and Shekou ports, plus a dense network of freight forwarders who know how to move small parcels and LCL containers without losing their minds.

We don't own a port. We don't pretend to. What we do is work with a Shenzhen forwarder we've used for years — the kind who answers WhatsApp at 11pm when a customs code looks wrong. Your goods leave Huizhou, clear through Shenzhen, and get on a boat or plane. That's the Guangdong shipping hub advantage: options. Sea, air, express — all within a 40km radius.

The 孤品 problem (and why we don't fake it)

Some of our clients source 孤品 — one-of-a-kind pieces, often from small studios or estate sales. These are a nightmare to ship because they don't fit standard carton sizes. We've handled ceramics from Jingdezhen and hand-dyed silk from Hangzhou. Each one gets weighed, measured, and packed individually.

We do not have a scale weigh for every SKU yet. If you ask for a specific gram weight on a 孤品 item, we'll tell you honestly: we need to put it on the scale first. No invented numbers. No "approximately 500g" when we haven't checked.

What this means for your quote

When you request a quote through /request, we build it from real numbers: factory price, domestic shipping to Huizhou, QC time, then Shenzhen export costs. We use PayPal for deposits because it's familiar and has buyer protection. If you want to see how we structure a sourcing plan, the /guide walks through it step by step.

For makers like Honglv or Xizi — both of whom we've worked with — the Huizhou stop is where we catch defects before they become your problem. One client saved a whole container because we spotted a zipper batch that was 2cm short. That's not a sales pitch. That's just Tuesday.

The boring truth about speed

We can't promise 3-day shipping from China. Nobody can, unless they're lying or using magic. What we can promise is that your goods move from factory to Huizhou to Shenzhen to port without sitting in a black hole. Typical timeline: 2–4 days for consolidation and QC in Huizhou, 1–2 days for Shenzhen export clearance, then whatever the freight method dictates.

If you're sourcing from multiple suppliers and want one clean export, this is the setup. If you're shipping a single pallet, it might be overkill — and we'll tell you that too.

Ready to stop guessing?

Send us your product list and target quantity. We'll tell you what it costs to get it from factory floor to your door — no fake weights, no mystery fees. Email hello@yuefetch.com or hit the WhatsApp button. We'll reply with real numbers, usually within one business day.

And if you just want to browse what other buyers are sourcing, the /topics page has case studies. No fluff. Just cartons, customs, and the occasional zipper disaster.
